Community Emergency Response Team Workshop
September 29, 2024Ocean County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) in conjunction with FEMA Region 2 and NJ State Police OEM will be hosting a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Workshop training for our CERT volunteers.
The date of the event is September 29 at Ocean County OEM at Robert Miller Airpark, 901 Pinewald Keswick Rd, Bayville, NJ 08721.
Training starts at 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Pre-register for classes at the bottom of this page. These classes are offered only for CERT volunteers.
Event Schedule:| 0730 | CERT Workshop Registration (Must Pre-register) and Lite Breakfast (Courtesy NJOEM) | | 0800 | Opening Remarks by NJOEM, Ocean County OEM and FEMA, Pledge of Allegiance/Group Photo | | 0830 - 1030 | Training Begins. Choose ONE of the following (Must Pre-register)- Missing Person Awareness and Intro to Navigation AM + PM – Classroom 2
- Disability Awareness/Adaptive Equipment Demo – EOC
- Triage Training – Truck Bay- EMS
- Canine and Drone Demo
