Basic Telecommunicator, Emergency Medical Dispatch and CPR Course Announcement The Ocean County Sheriff’s Office is holding a Public Safety Telecommunicator Course. The Basic Telecommunicator, CPR, and Emergency Medical Dispatch course will start on February 11,2024 and end on March 7, 2024. If successfully completed, these classes provide one with the certifications needed to apply for a 911 Pubic Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher. The course will be held at the Robert J. Miller Air Park/Office of Emergency Management. Classes are Sunday thru Thursday 1800-2220hrs. Business attire is required and arriving on late for the class will be grounds for removal from the course. The cost of the course will be $125. Seating is limited to the first 30 students. The closing date for registering is February 9th, 2024 or when the class is full.
